Gerry LamarreWorking as a professional nature photographer since 1978, Gerry J. Lamarre has amassed an incredible collection of over 500,000 wildlife images! The work in Gerry's portfolio stood out to us as that of a photographer, who really loves the subjects he is photographing. Several of the images included in Gerry's Profotos gallery are top-quality, magazine cover material. The image of the eagle (shown at left), known as "The Boss" is one our staff really enjoyed reviewing. The Rembrandt-style of lighting on the bird's face is absolutely incredible, as is the fact that it is looking directly at Gerry's lens. Great images await inside the gallery of this wildlife master! Since 1978, Gerry has pursued his major interest and full time profession in wildlife photography with the use of Canon cameras and telephoto lenses. Over the years, Gerry has collected over 500,000 different photographs, and sells them professionally worldwide. Gerry actively ventures into the wilderness to see his wildlife subjects. In order to photograph the animals, he finds it necessary to sail, scuba, kayak, river raft, canoe, mountain climb, backpack and horse ride. Some of his trips have consisted of 40 days of rafting and climbing in northern British Columbia; 10 weeks of horse packing in the Bitterroot Mountains of Montana; 30 days sailing off the coast of British Columbia; and countless 3-10 day adventures throughout the Continental U.S., Alaska, and Canada.
