Roger and Pat de la Harpe, specialize in photographing and writing about travel, wildlife and indigenous people. They freelance for a number of South African magazines such as Africa Environment and Wildlife, Getaway and Out There and have also covered the Cape Town restart of the 1998 Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race for National Geographic magazine. They have published 8 books, varying from their most recent coffee table book, National Parks and Other Wild Places of Southern Africa, to small tourist publications about the 2 oldest game reserves in Africa – Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park and The Greater St Lucia Wetland Park.
