Herman Krieger of Eugene, Oregon (USA) is a photographer with a great sense of humor, and an eye for the unexpected. Herman has a talent for finding interesting juxtapositions of subjects, which he arranges in such a way that they become comical works of art. A book has been published on Herman's photo essay, entitled "Churches ad Hoc". This book contains many examples of Herman's humorous photographs, which have received rave reviews from those inside and outside of the American Christian community.

Along with his great sense of humor and eye for complex details, Herman is a very good image-maker. Our staff was very impressed by his great use of the frame and his wonderfully composed images. Herman's compositions are very tight, and well-executed.
