Profotos Photography WebRing Rules

We believe that these rules are pretty straightforward and basic, however, if you have any questions regarding these rules or the WebRing in general, do not hesitate to contact us at: support@profotos.com. Please include "Photography WebRing Question" as the subject of your email.

The following rules apply to all sites applying for membership within the Profotos WebRing

1. Site MUST be related to professional photography .
2. Site MUST contain photographs, in order to be accepted into the Ring.
3. Sites can be commercial in nature, as long as they are related to the promotion of professional photography, through the display of photographs.
4. Sites which are nothing but link pages will BE REMOVED from the Ring!
5. Sites may NOT be password protected, in order to enter them.
6. Member sites MUST display the Profotos HTML fragment, along with the WebRing Logo on the front page of their site.
7. Site information MUST include a VALID email address.
8. Pop-up style windows MAY NOT be used to display the WebRing HTML fragment, as these cause problems with navigation through the WebRing. The HTML fragment MUST be a part of the actual front page of the member site.
9. NO SITES WILL BE INCLUDED, which contain ANY of the following:

   --Material which defames, abuses or threatens others.
   --Statements that are bigoted, hateful or racially offensive.
   --Material that advocates illegal activity or discusses illegal activities with the intent to commit them.
   --Unauthorized copyrighted material.
   --Material that contains vulgar, obscene or indecent language or images (i.e.-pornographic sites).
   --Material that does not pertain to professional photography.

    

10. Special sites may be added with the permission of the Ringmaster.
11. Sites that do not add the Profotos WebRing HTML fragment and Logo to their front page within  3 (three) days of applying for membership, will be removed from the WebRing waiting list.
